This place suits me perfectly, with great wi-fi, tv, and comfortable rooms. The staff helped me with a late check-in on my first stay. I highly recommend trying the breakfast.

The breakfast offered a wide selection, freshly prepared and served until midday, a rarity that I appreciated. The room had modern amenities, a comfortable bed, and the shower pressure was a solid stream, making mornings more bearable.
The view from my room was disappointing, restricted mostly to a parking lot rather than any picturesque scenery. The layout of the room had noise issues—thin walls meant I could hear the neighboring guests with ease throughout the night. the bathroom felt cramped, lacking the 'luxurious' vibe that was promised, and the absence of hair conditioner was a surprising oversight for a midrange hotel. The pub below was often bustling with crowds, which sometimes added extra noise during the evening. Lastly, the furniture looked nice but lacked any real character, feeling more utilitarian than inviting.

Family with children would enjoy this place
Had this amazing experience with the staff. I mean they were super friendly and welcoming. One time I needed info and they were just right there, no waiting around. Their breakfast? Wow! Always well stocked and self-service so you could load up as much as you wanted.
Yeah, it wasn’t exactly a bargain, but considering the experience, it felt worth it.

The location near the head of the lake provides stunning views, especially from the bar during sunset. Friendly staff make for a welcoming atmosphere, and the full English breakfast is worth the extra cost. the room was in need of some freshening up, and the bathroom was quite basic and functional. The evening meals felt standard and didn't quite match the breakfast experience.

comfortable stay but some room for improvement
The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean, reflecting the care taken in housekeeping. The hosts responded quickly to our request about parking, which made our arrival stress-free.
While the overall experience was pleasant, the bathroom could use some more attention to detail.

missingWrote a review on 04 Julstunning locationpleasant atmospherehelpful staffpoor lightingoverpriced meals
I stayed for two nights in a Double or Twin Room while exploring the local attractions. The location was stunning, sitting right by the lake, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. I did have some issues with the lighting in the room, making it hard to get ready. The dining experience could be improved, as the main meals felt overpriced and lacked table service.

Nice spot, needs some tweaks
We had a decent stay for a couple of nights. The room was really spacious and the gardens are lovely. But the evening menu was a bit of a letdown, not much variety, just a piece of A4 paper listing fried food. Would've liked some nicer options after a long day of walking. Staff were friendly, though!
